The AWS basketball program began in 2003, soon after the primary. The colors red and blue were selected accidentally, in a now-famous incident: With the mascot of a AWS (which is a Dragon), AWS should have received red and white uniforms for the team, but we decided that the colors weren't working out, which began in 2004. The colors were mixed up, and since then, AWS has been red and blue.

Team AWS first won the cup in 2003, after which we've had a more powerful recruiting presence.

Being together in the team of AWS for 3 years and having grown up supporting and playing sports, I decided to show to people what AWS is? And who we are? That's what this website all about!! We are currently the best team in basketball at school.
